TAMALES
FILLING: 2 cups ground gluten or ground vegi meat 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp cumin 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder sea salt to taste MASA DOUGH: 1 cup corn meal 1 cup unbleached white flour 1 tsp sea salt 1 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/3 cup canola oil 1 cup soy milk or vegi broth CORN HUSKS: Prepare the Corn Husks the same way it is on the instructions. FILLINGS: Mix all ingredients in a medium size bowl. Set it aside. MASA DOUGH: Mix all ingredients by spoon in a medium size bowl. Spread Masa Dough evenly over husks. Place 1 T of filling mixtures in center. Roll and place in a steamer. Cover and steam for 30 minutes. Freezes well. Very Delicious! TEN THOUSAND ISLAND DRESSING 1 pkg tofu, firm, Mori-Nu silken 1/4 cup soy milk powder 4 T lemon juice 3 T turbinado sugar 5 T tomato sauce 1 tsp paprika 1 1/2 tsp sea salt 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 c + 2 T water 1/2 onion, finely chopped 1 T parsley flakes Blend all ingredients except chopped onions and parsley flakes. Pour in a bowl. Add onions and parsley flakes.
