OMEGA-3 COOKIES

½ c ground flax seeds                1 T Ener-G baking powder
1 ½ c quick oats                         ½ c chopped walnuts
¾ c oat flour                              ¾ c soy milk
2/3 c turbinaod sugar                 ½ c canola oil
½ tsp sea salt                            1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Mix all ingredients except soy milk, canola oil and vanilla.  Add soy milk, canola oil and vanilla.  Mix thoroughly.  Spray non-stick oil on the 9 x 13 cookie sheet.  Drop onto cookie sheet by 1 tablespoon portion. Bake for 25 minutes.  Makes 3 dozen.  Very delicious!



CORN PATTIES

3 c fresh or frozen corn                    ½ tsp sea salt
2 whole green onions, chopped        ½ tsp garlic powder
½ c unbleached white flour              1 T onion powder
¼ c wheat germ                              5 T water

If you are using frozen corn, thaw completely.  Mix all ingredients in a bowl.  Mix well.  The mixture is very sticky.  In a medium heat oiled skillet, drop ¼ cup portion for the patty.  Flatten with spoon.  Cook until golden brown on both sides.  Very delicious!



CABBAGE & CARROT STIR-FRY

½ small cabbage head, shredded        ½ - ¾ tsp sea salt
1 carrot, shredded                              ½ tsp garlic powder
2 green onions, chopped                     ½ tsp onion powder
1 ½ T olive oil                        2 tsp nutritional yeast flakes

In a large skillet over high heat, add olive oil.  When oil is hot, add vegetables and remaining ingredients.  Cook until vegetables are tender and crisp.  Stir occasionally.
