Taste of Heaven Breakfast
CAROB & WALNUT GRANOLA 3 ½ c rolled oats or quick oats ½ c wheat germ ¼ c carob powder ½ c walnuts ½ c unsweetened coconut flakes ¾ tsp sea salt ¼ c canola oil ¼ c honey 2 T warm water 1 tsp vanilla Mix oats, wheat germ, carob powder, walnuts, unsweetened coconut flakes, and sea salt in a large bowl. Mix canola oil, honey, warm water and vanilla in a small bowl. Add liquid to dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly with hands. Put in 9 x 13 cookie sheets. Bake at 225 degrees for 2 hours. Very delicious!
FOREVER YOUNG BARS ¾ c whole wheat flour ½ c oat flour ½ c unbleached white flour ½ c lecithin granules ½ c raisins ½ c chopped walnuts ½ T Ener-G baking powder ¾ tsp sea salt 6 T turbinado sugar ¼ c canola oil 1 c water ½ T vanilla ½ c additional chopped walnuts Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients except canola oil, water, vanilla and additional chopped walnuts in a large bowl. Add canola oil, water, vanilla and stir together well. Spray oil unto 9 x 13 cookie sheet. Spread the mixture. Sprinkle additional chopped walnuts. Press rightly. Bake for 20 minutes. Cool it completely before cut into 2” x 2”. Yummy!
OAT PANCAKES 1 c whole wheat flour 1 c oatmeal ½ tsp sea salt 2 c soy milk 2 T canola oil 3 T honey ½ T vanilla Blend all ingredients until smooth. Empty into bowl. Pour ¼ cup portion of batter onto heated non-stick skillet. Quickly spread with bottom of measuring cup. When edges are cooked, turn it over. Cook on both sides until golden brown. Delicious! |
