Garden Pasta Soup & More
GARDEN PASTA SOUP 1 c potatoes, cut ½” cubes 1 stalk celery, cut ½” sizes ½ onion, cut ½” cubes 1 carrot, cut ½” sizes ½ c cabbages, cut ½” sizes 1 ½ c water ½ c any whole wheat pasta 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce 1 T soy sauce, unfermented ¼ tsp sea salt 1 tsp garlic powder 1 T nutritional yeast flakes Put all ingredients in a large saucepan. Cook until tender (about 20 minutes). Yummy! DELUXE CORN BREAD 1 c cornmeal 1 c unbleached white flour 2 T wheat germ ¼ c turbinado sugar 1 T Ener-G baking powder 1 tsp sea salt 1 T soy flour or tapioca flour 1/3 c canola oil 1 c soy milk Mix all ingredients except canola oil, and soy milk in a large bowl. Add canola oil and soy milk. Mix thoroughly. Pour into an oil sprayed pie dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Delicious! WALNUT COOKIES 2 ¼ unbleached white flour ¼ c wheat germ ¾ c turbinado sugar ½ c soy milk powder ½ c lecithin granules ½ tsp sea salt 1 T Ener-G baking powder 1 c chopped walnuts ½ c soy milk ½ c canola oil 1 tsp vanilla Mix all ingredients in a large bowl except soy milk, canola oil and vanilla. Add soy milk, canola oil and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Drop on an oil sprayed cookie sheet by 1 tablespoon portion and flatten with fingers. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes. Yum yum! |
